Dave and Jenny Marrs HGTV's hit show “Fixer to Fabulous”

Dave and Jenny Marrs are a husband-and-wife duo who turn fixer uppers to fabulous homes. They even have their own show called “Fixer to Fabulous” on HGTV. They focus on restoring historic homes in their neighborhood of Bentonville, Arkansas. Together, they have completed around 300 custom new homes and run Marrs Developing, a company that specializes in the renovation and restoration of historic homes in the Northwest Arkansas area. Dave does all the heavy lifting and Jenn does the design. They face many challenges, but there is nothing this duo can’t handle.

Jenny is the creative backbone of their renovations and specializes in designing spaces that are welcoming and inviting. She believes a home is a reflection of the family who lives there, and sometimes, the most beautiful spaces are imperfect and full of character. Dave is an expert craftsman, builder, general contractor and all-around handyman. His knowledge of restoring old homes is unrivaled and his passion for bringing out the charm of historic homes is contagious.

Jenny and Dave have 5 kids: twin boys (Nathan and Ben), two daughters (Sylvie, who was adopted from the Congo and Charlotte) and Luke, who’s growing up at the speed of light. Things have tended to come in twos for the Marrs family. First, it was twins, and then around the same time their 3^rd child was born, they adopted a 2.5 year old. It was a sigh of relief for them to have their last child to come into this world alone! They now live on a blueberry farm in Arkansas and donate the proceeds to non-profit work in Zimbabwe where they have an agricultural training program, training orphaned teens who need life skills because they haven’t been plugged into school.

Todd Zimmerman ran away and joined the Circus in 1995. During his time with Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus, he lived on a circus train where room to cook was limited. So he never learned to cook from anything other than a box or a can!

When Food Networks Worst Cooks in America was casting for their 29th Season: Talented and Terrible, they were looking for folks who had unique skills but were terrible in the kitchen. So Todd packed up his red nose and went to learn to cook from Chef Gabe Bertaccini and Chef Anne Burrell on the set of Worst Cooks in America. He wasn't clowning around when he won his season and the $25k cash prize!

Garrett Bedenbaugh is a First Alert Meteorologist for Action News Jax.

You can catch his forecasts on CBS47 and FOX30 Action News Jax This Morning from 4:30 AM to 9 AM and CBS47 Action News Jax at Noon Monday through Friday.

Garrett joined the First Alert Weather Team in May 2014 as Weekend Meteorologist and has known he wanted to be a "weatherman" on television since he was in the third grade. He once was afraid of storms. Now he tracks them down to street level on First Alert Doppler HD!

Originally from Clinton, South Carolina, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

He began his career as a meteorologist at the local FOX affiliate in Columbia, South Carolina in 2012.

His favorite aspect of meteorology is tropical storms and hurricanes. Garrett loves tropical forecasting which is why he loves the Jacksonville area and the weather that we see here so often during the spring and summer.

He is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) from the American Meteorological Society and is also a member of the National Weather Association.

Garrett is very active on social media and loves seeing all of the #FirstAlertWX photos and videos from viewers in northeast Florida and southeast Georgia.

In his free time, you will find him exploring northeast Florida with his wife and son, checking out community events, visiting family and friends, following his favorite sports teams, and talking about his favorite subject: weather.

Dennis Chan has been cooking since he was old enough to stand on a stepstool and watch his grandfather prepare meals in the family’s restaurant on the Southside of Jacksonville.

Seeing his grandfather add a unique twist by marrying modern American flavors with traditional Chinese ingredients fascinated young Dennis. And his food-centric upbringing sparked a passion for cooking that led him to the University of Florida and then the Culinary Institute of America. Following international travel, working in guest relations at the WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT, Managing restaurants, and an internship at Chef Ming Tsai’s Blue Ginger in Boston, he returned to his hometown and embarked on a successful career as a chef and restaurateur. He launched Blue Bamboo in 2005 and has been delighting a devoted clientele ever since.

Chef Dennis, also the bestselling author of Hip Asian Comfort Food, and Let’s Eat, is the 2018 winner of General Mills’ Neighborhood to Nation Recipe Contest and a frequent volunteer for community events such as Caring Chefs, which raises money annually to benefit Children’s Home Society. He and his wife Elizabeth are the proud parents of two boys.
